Sendcoach Pipeline Guide
The Pipeline is one of the most important features in Sendcoach. It helps you organize and track all your recruiting opportunities in one place.
Getting Started with the Pipeline
When you first open your Pipeline, it will look empty. Don't worry---once you start adding schools, it will quickly become your central hub for tracking outreach.
- Go to the Schools tab in Sendcoach.
- Search for schools by name, division, state, or conference.
- Click Interested to add a school to your Pipeline.
When you add a school, its message chain is automatically included, and it will appear in the Outreach Start column.
Understanding the Pipeline
- The Pipeline is built with a series of columns that represent stages in the recruiting journey.
- Schools move left to right across the Pipeline:
- Left side: early conversations and initial outreach
- Right side: final stages such as offers and commitments
As you move a school card through the Pipeline, new activities are logged automatically so you can track progress.
Customizing Your Pipeline
- Rename columns: You can change column names to match your process.
- Add columns: For example, add a "Target A" column to track high-priority schools.
- Delete columns: Remove any stages you don't need.
- Reorder columns: Drag and drop columns to set the flow that works best for you.
The Pipeline should look wide on the left (many opportunities) and narrow on the right (a few offers). This mirrors the real recruiting funnel.
Activity Indicators
- Green cards: These show active opportunities with recent inbound or outbound activity.
- Red cards: These signal inactivity, also known as Pipeline Rot. This helps you spot opportunities that need follow-up.
Tips for Success
- Add as many schools as make sense to your Outreach Start column.
- The more schools you include, the more chances you have to create real opportunities.
- Move cards down the Pipeline as communication progresses.
