Welcome to Sendcoach

Hi there — Welcome to Sendcoach! I'm Ben, one of the co-founders, and more importantly, a sports parent just like you.

I created Sendcoach during my daughter Ava’s soccer recruitment journey. We needed a way for our family to stay organized, collaborate, and support her outreach to colleges. What started as a personal tool has grown into a platform used by families across the country to manage and simplify the college recruiting process.

This doc will walk you through the key features of the platform and how to get started.

✉️ The Shared Inbox

The first thing you’ll notice is your shared inbox. This is the heart of Sendcoach.

It's connected to your student-athlete’s Gmail account.
It filters and displays only messages related to college programs.
Each school includes:
A brief overview
Coaching staff contact info
Quick links to school academic and athletic websites

👥 The inbox is collaborative — parents, athletes, and advisors can all stay on the same page.

If a coach is missing from a school listing, click Add a Coach and we’ll get it added.

🏫 Schools List and Interest Tracking

Start by exploring the Schools tab:

Every NCAA Division I–III school is preloaded.
Your athlete can mark schools as Interested, which:
Adds the school to their Interested List
Automatically adds the school to the Pipeline (explained below)

📊 The Pipeline (Kanban Board)

The Pipeline is your command center for recruitment progress.

Organize schools left to right as your journey unfolds — from initial outreach to offers.
Customize column names and stages.
Move schools across the board as things progress or fall off.

You’ll see wins, like offers, and losses, like no responses — it's all part of the process.

✍️ Templates and Outreach

Templates make communication fast and consistent.

Create templates once, then reuse them.
Use personalization tools like “Hi Coach [Name]” for a personal touch.
When you send, it comes directly from the athlete’s email.
Coaches are auto-CC’d where available.
The platform will automatically include a smart email footer with links to the athlete’s profile.

💡 Pro Tip: Once a school is in your Pipeline, you can begin outreach with just a couple clicks.

📄 Athlete Profile

Every athlete has a customizable profile page.

Auto-generates from social media (YouTube, Instagram, X, etc.)
Includes club/league info, bio, and highlight links
Easily shareable with coaches through your email signature
Tracks which coaches viewed it — even when they can’t reply

This helps you understand who's engaging, even during no-contact periods (like D1 quiet periods).
