Can I add a CC or BCC in my emails?
Yes. In Sendcoach, you can set a default CC (carbon copy) or BCC (blind carbon copy) for every email you send. This setting is managed in your Settings area and applies automatically to all outgoing emails.
What’s the Difference?
- CC (Carbon Copy): The email recipient can see who is copied on the message.
- BCC (Blind Carbon Copy): The recipient cannot see who else is copied.
When to Use CC vs. BCC
We recommend using CC sparingly. College coaches prefer emails to come directly from the student-athlete. Adding a parent or advisor to CC can make the message feel less personal and may even turn a coach off. If you’d like a parent or advisor to receive a copy without the coach knowing, use BCC instead.
How to Set It Up
- Go to Settings in your Sendcoach account (left navigation.
- Find the Account Settings section.
- Enter the email address you’d like to CC or BCC by default.
- Save your changes.
From now on, that address will automatically be included in every email you send.
